Liza and I took a stroll in the rain yesterday. We stopped at the bookstore for a fun new book and then at the smoothie shop for a Berry Buzz and a cookie.
She LOVES her new fish book and is trying very hard to turn the pages by herself.

Remembering
We took peonies to Pete's grave today. He and I spent many fun days together fishing, tinkering in his work shed, and singing silly songs. I know he would have loved doing the same with his great granddaughter, too.

Look Who We Saw Today!
Aunt Virginia is in the area at a friend's wedding this weekend. We stole her away from the festivities for a quick lunch this afternoon. We're looking forward to living closer to her and Uncle Allen very soon!
