Hanging Out with Mama

Liza likes it when I craft on the floor while she plays. She's very interested in watching me cut, glue, and stamp. I'm hoping she'll want to join in on the fun in a few years.

Mama Crafts!

I have so many craft projects that I've started and haven't finished. Now that Liza can entertain herself for short periods of time, I made myself a promise of 30 minutes of creative "me time" each day. I ordered this Coptic Art Journal Kit a couple of months ago and finally sat down and put it together this week.   

The sewing was my favorite part. I love the little chain stitches on the spine.

And because I know that she's really what you come here to see...here she is on her new favorite perch, Daddy's shoulders!

A Beautiful Bib

Liza is a big fan of sweet potatoes, and Mama is a fan of Liza's new bib. We own a whole basket of bibs, but this 2littlehooligans one is far and away our favorite. Mama loves the gorgeous fabric, snap closure, and that it's handmade. Liza thinks its super softness makes getting her face wiped a little less traumatic.
