Question

Did she need me to hold her so she could take a good nap, or did I need me to hold her so I could set the to-do list aside and savor a few pages in my new book?

Sous-Chef

This bouncy seat is a recent addition to our growing arsenal of baby gear.  It's definitely my most favorite thing yet.  For the first time in 9 weeks, I was able to return to my kitchen and bake!!!  My little sous-chef loved hanging out in her seat and talking to Mama while I made a tasty loaf of banana chocolate chip bread.

Nana & Grandpa

Liza spent the last few days getting to know Nana & Grandpa.  Nana read her some books and let her sleep on her shoulder.  Grandpa is teaching her how to blow raspberries.  

Liza's had a constant stream of adoring visitors since she was born.  It looks like our girl is worn out from all the excitement.  We've loved having all the help and attention, but are looking forward to some time with just the 3 of us (oh! and Jake and Penny too).
